About Program

Type of Education(Goal) and Objectives

 The purpose of this program is to meet the need for staff who are equipped with practical knowledge necessary for the customs legislation and regulations, practical information of foreign trade and exchange. Since the most of our foreign trade is a major part of European Union member countries, during the two-year program period, studens learn how to adapt to EU legislation in the process of harmonization and integration.
It is objectived to raise member as follows • is aware of Ataturk´s principles, informed in the matter of history reforms, • to be able to use Turkish properly, to be able to use mathematic abilities in professional field. to be able to use English efficiently to be able to explain basic concepts, aims and relations with environment of business, be able to comprehend business´s functions and relationships among these functions to be able to understand and interpret national and international political and economic facts and changes to be able to know and prepare the documents used in foreign trade transactions to be able to comprehend payment methods and foreign exchange obligations in foreign trade to know legal and commercial rights and obligations of the parties in foreign trade transactions to able to pursuit and practice customs transactions to able to comprehend legislation on foreign trade incentives and follow and interpret change in the legislation to be able to practice on the process of finance, accounting and taxation of foreign trade transactions. to know basic functions of international transport and logistics and to be able to operate to know writen and verbal communication rules, to own efficient communication skill

Qualification Awarded

 Students are awarded with a Short Cycle Degree in Foreign Trade upon successful completion of all the requirements in the curriculum programme and fulfilling all other requirements for graduation

Admission Requirements

 In our country, for entry into universities in the Student Selection and Placement Center (SSPC) is required to be successful in the examination conducted by. Students according to their score as a result of examination, can enter the program by editing the preferences, preferred forms will send the Student Selection and Placement Center.  Students who successfully complete pre-license training exam by entering the vertical transition, in accordance with the Student Selection and Placement Center undergraduate programs in the undergraduate program may place them. Graduation Requirements

 To successfully complete the program, all of the courses available in the program (120 ECTS) to pass, at least 2.0 on a 4.00 weighted GPA and a 30-day mandatory to obtain the student must successfully complete the internship.

Qualification Req. and Regulations

 Graduates of this program, KPSS from the customs authorities of the case as a civil servant appointed to take the required score. In addition, foreign trade companies, and private sector organizations engaged in export and import customs Undersecretary work.

Assessment and Grading

 Each student's academic calendar to register for the pre-determined dates and a final exam in order to join the courses at least 70% of applications should be continued for at least 80%. Students for each course at least 1 midterm and final and make-up exam are subjected to. Weights, the contribution of the midterm exams 40%, 60% is the contribution of the final exam. The marking out of 100. One course (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) and (CC), one of the letter grades that the students are considered as successful.

Program Profile

 Students in the program are equipped foreign trade and management information. Economics, law, accounting, management as well as lessons such as foreign language lessons for foreign trade, are mainly the students are won work experience by making an internship.
